Properties must be submitted directly by property owners or authorised representatives. Every submission is checked against the same published criteria — location, condition, amenities and photography — before publication.

How do payments work?

All payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment institution, under a published schedule set out in your booking agreement: a 25% booking deposit when both parties sign, the balance collected automatically 85 days before the event and held by Stripe until after check-in, and a security deposit collected 30 days before arrival. Funds are held and released by Stripe according to these published rules — never at anyone's discretion.

Are there any service fees for guests?

No. The price on the listing is the price you pay — there is no guest service fee added at checkout. The platform's fee is paid from the homeowner's side and is disclosed to them before they list.

Is there a booking agreement?

Yes. A comprehensive Master Booking Agreement is generated for every booking, agreed directly between the homeowner and the guest, covering cancellation terms for both sides, damage liability, the security deposit process, occupancy rules, and breach clauses. Both parties sign digitally.

What happens if the homeowner cancels?

Homeowner cancellation carries firm, pre-agreed consequences in the booking agreement: the booking deposit must be repaid at double, and cancelling close to the event adds liability for the extra cost of a comparable replacement. These terms exist so a confirmed booking stays confirmed.

How is the security deposit handled?

The security deposit is collected by Stripe 30 days before arrival and held by Stripe — not by us or the homeowner. If no damage claim is filed within 72 hours of checkout, it is automatically refunded in full. Claims follow a published, evidence-based process using timestamped check-in and check-out videos; anything disputed goes to an independent adjudicator named in the agreement.
